LEARN How To Row

There are two types of rowing: sculling and sweep rowing. As an adult novice rower at The Milwaukee Rowing Club, you can learn how to sweep.

Interested in sculling? In order to learn to scull, you must set up individual sessions/lessons with Roger or another coach on the Milwaukee Rowing Club staff. You must be cleared by this staff member in order to begin to take club equipment out on your own.

NOTE ON Sculling

Adult classes for sculling will not be held. To still experience rowing in Milwaukee, we invite you to consider joining The Milwaukee Rowing Club and participate in our Learn to Row program! Interested in sculling? In order to learn to scull, you must set up individual sessions/lessons with Roger or another coach on the Milwaukee Rowing Club staff. You must be cleared by this staff member in order to begin to take club equipment out on your own.
