2022 Pull Together Campaign

The beginning of 2022 marks the push for our annual "Pull Together" campaign. Our athletes have endured so much over the last two years, and they deserve to continue to be provided with resources which put them in the best position to succeed. This spring, we need a new eight for the youth women and a trailer for equipment transport to our regattas. Additionally, we are always seeking funding to support scholarships and our STEM to Stern effort. After focusing on getting through the pandemic, our club is prepared to reintroduce our annual campaigns to keep the club moving forward. Please support the Milwaukee Rowing Club athletes as they strive for greatness!

2022 Urgent Needs

The club is in need of a new eight, a trailer, and continued funding for our STEM to Stern program. Here is our goal for 2022:

• 2022 Vespoli VHP 8+ - $45,000

  • Our Youth Women qualified for Nationals last spring and have continued to build on that accomplishment. You can help put them in a new 8+ this spring and get them back to Sarasota.

• New Trailer - $25,000

  • Our club will benefit greatly from a new trailer - setting us up for transporting our equipment for years to come and allowing more shells at some of our larger regattas.

• Funding/Support for our STEM to Stern Program/Financial Aid

Donor Matching

We are really excited to announce that we have an anonymous donor who will match all donations through March 1. Submit your donation to MRC between now and March 1 for the club to get the most out of your donation.

Trailer - Name a Rack!

Donate $800 or more and you will get your name on one of the trailer racks. Offer extended for the first 24 donors.

The Milwaukee Rowing Club is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization and acknowledgement letters will be sent to donors for tax purposes. Your contribution will remain confidential. You may give to the Milwaukee Rowing Club via the following methods:

2021 Highlights

Through a tough couple of years battling the pandemic, our athletes have shown strength and perseverance with one of the best years our high school team has ever recorded.
Midwest Championships:
Nine crews earned medals, the MRC had three crews earn a championship gold, and the team qualified four crews for the Youth Nationals.
Youth Nationals:
The MRC had four crews compete at Youth Nationals in Sarasota, FL. The Boys Varsity 8+, the Girls Varsity 8+, the Boys U17 4+, and the Girls U17 4+ all competed at a high level in June. The Girls U17 4+ came away with a 4th place finish.
Head of the Charles:
All four crews earned requalification for next year - the first time in program history. The Boys Varsity 8+ earned their best ever finish with 17th place (of 80).
Head of the Hooch:
The MRC had six crews earn top 10 finishes and three of our crews came home with a medal. The Boys Varsity 8+ earned their best ever finish at this regatta with a silver medal.
